Nortje, the founder of Music Unlimited and chairperson of Rolling Stones South Africa, is the host of the popular quiz nights at the Dross in Kempton Park every Wednesday at 19:00.
Members of the community are invited to join in the fun, with prizes up for grabs for the first- and second-place finishers.
Participants can look forward to good food, music, a great atmosphere and drinks.
According to Nortje, the quiz nights feature teams of four to six players testing their general knowledge in a variety of genres, including movies, sports, music and more.
“The current champion has been unbeaten for five months with 22 quizzes in succession,” he said.
He said anyone can join in the fun and try to defeat the champion.
Nortje has also invited businesses in the Kempton Park area to bring their teams along to take on the community members.
