Criminals take antiretroviral drugs and more during clinic burglary

Police have confirmed that other items stolen included televisions, computer monitors, processors, microwaves and a water dispenser.

Police are investigating a burglary which took place in the early hours of this morning, June 27, at a clinic in Olifantsfontein.

According to information received among the item stolen were four boxes of antiretroviral drugs, seven TVs, seven computer monitors, three processors, four microwaves, four routers and a water dispenser.

“Arrests to this incident are imminent,” said EMPD spokesperson Marie Mashishi.

She confirmed that a case of burglary was registered at the Olifantsfontein Police Station.
