The officers were arrested by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) on December 2 after allegedly extorting money from a salon owner at Norkem Mall on November 24.
According to IPID, the officers approached a 38-year-old salon owner and questioned her about her business documentation.
She reportedly informed them that the required paperwork was displayed on the wall. The officers then requested her identity document, which she provided.
