Manhunt launched for suspect in Glen Marais house robbery

The suspect fled the scene of the Glen Marais house robbery after shooting the victim and his dog yesterday morning.

Kempton Park police are appealing to the public for information following a house robbery in Glen Marais on May 28.

According to a statement issued on behalf of Kempton Park Station Commander Brigadier Lindani Ndlovu, sector members Sergeant Bruce Madingane and Constable Maluleke responded to a complaint at around 05:30 at a residence on Arboor Street.

“On arrival, paramedics, security personnel, and the victim’s brother were already on the scene,” said Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego.

“It was alleged that an unknown man forced open the bedroom window of the homeowner’s residence, entered the room, and shot the victim several times in the lower body.
