Man nabbed for fraud by Kempton Park SAPS
A 24-year-old foreign national was arrested at the Kempton Park Licensing Department after attempting to obtain a traffic register number with fraudulent documents.
The EMPD North Task Team arrested a foreign national (24) on charges of fraud and contravention of Section 49 (1) of the Immigration Act (Act 13 of 2002).
The arrest followed a call for assistance from the Kempton Park Licensing Department, where an individual was allegedly attempting to obtain a traffic register number using fraudulent documents.

Officers responded to the call and, on arrival, questioned the suspect about the suspicious paperwork.
The man allegedly admitted that he had purchased the fraudulent document in Johannesburg for R6 000.
Home Affairs inspectors were called to verify the suspect’s visa and confirmed that it was fraudulent.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Kempton Park Police Station.
