EMPD nabs 10 for drug possession, dealing

EMPD officers arrested 10 people aged between 20 and 47 in Kempton Park, Germiston, Duduza, Daveyton, and Putfontein between August 10 and 13.

The arrests followed information received about people selling drugs in various communities.

Officers seized dagga, Mandrax tablets, crystal meth and Cat with an estimated street value of R12 520.

Those arrested were taken to their respective police stations and face charges of possession and dealing in illegal substances. They will soon appear in a magistrate’s court.
