Proceedings were also held up earlier in the year while the case docket remained with the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for directives. Other postponements occurred due to administrative and medical reasons. Hattingh’s June 19 appearance was postponed because of an outstanding medical report, while a similar delay happened on June 5 as the court awaited a report from Johannesburg Prison. Her attorney, Obed Lewete, confirmed that Hattingh was in good health and ready for trial. “We are ready for trial on any given date,” he said. Hattingh is accused of murdering 29-year-old Markus Greeff on May 15, 2024, at a property on West Street in Pomona. She was arrested the following day. #kemptonexpress #kemptonpark #crimetok #Crime #SAPS #kempton #TiktokNews #Murder #court #incourt #DeniseHattingh #localnews ♬ original sound – KemptonExpress
