Illegal taverns shut down in Bapsfontein raid by EMPD and Welbekend SAPS

EMPD Bronberg Precinct By Law Enforcement Team, together with Welberkendt SAPS, raided three reported illegal taverns, following a lead from a reliable source, in the Bapsfontein, on October 9.

The illegal taverns attract various elements that increase crime, as they are operated in residential plot dwellings and foreign-owned, with inspection outcomes highlighting activity between October 10 and 12.

During the planned operation, the officers were tasked with shutting down illegal liquor outlets and detaining illegal immigrants.
