EMPD Northern Region Task Team officers arrested a suspect linked to attempted murder, house robbery and theft in Edleen on November 12.

Following the information received, officers conducted a sting operation and traced the suspect to an open veld next to CR Swart, where he was arrested.

According to police, two cases were registered at Norkem Park Police Station for attempted murder and house robbery in September.

The foreign national was detained at Norkem Park Police Station for further investigation.
