EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) officers arrested five suspects in Kempton Park on November 11, two for possession of illegal substances and three for contravening the Immigration Act (Act 13 of 2002).
The arrests were made while officers were conducting law enforcement duties ahead of the metro’s festive season launch.
According to the EMPD, officers spotted two men, aged 52 and 32, allegedly selling substances at the corner of Atlas and Geldenhys roads in Bonaero Park. The officers approached the pair and conducted a search.
