On February 10, officers from the EMPD Northern Region Task Team recovered a hijacked white Toyota Hilux Raider bakkie in the Ivory Park area.

The officers were conducting crime prevention duties when they received information from a tracking company regarding a white Toyota Hilux Raider that had been hijacked in Thembisa.

Using GPS coordinates provided by the tracking company, the Northern Region Task Team located the vehicle parked on a sidewalk in Ivory Park.

All relevant role players were summoned to the scene, and the vehicle was subsequently taken to the Aeroton Police Pound for further investigation.
