Faulty water pipe replacement underway in Kempton Park

Technicians estimate the process to replace the damaged water pipe in Kempton Park will be completed at 18:00 this evening, June 28.

A water supply stoppage has been implemented in Kempton Park to enable technicians to replace a damaged water pipe.

The affected pipeline supplies water to some parts of the Kempton Park.

Technicians estimate the process to replace the pipe will be completed at 18:00 this evening, June 28.

The affected areas include:

  • Nimrod Park
  • Isando Industrial
  • Parts of Rhodesfield
  • Parts of Aston Manor
  • Parts of Glen Marais
  • Bredell
  • Parts of Pomona
  • Croydon
  • Spartan
  • Parts of the Kempton Park CBD
  • Allen Grove

While the replacement work is underway, water tankers have been dispatched to temporarily provide water to the affected areas.

Once released the Kempton Express will share a list of addresses where residents can locate a municipal water tanker.
