Local church rolls up their sleeves to clean up the Kempton Park CBD.

August 13 saw the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) The Jesus Nation Church clean up the streets of Kempton Park CBD.

The church is located on Jubilee Street.

Church members and municipal workers cleaning up the Kempton CBD.

The clean-up was led by the church’s pastor Racheal Masabata.

“We are cleaning the streets because we are part of the community. The community is us and we are the community,” she said.

Masabata said the clean-up formed part of the church’s evangelism.

“We are cleaning the streets and we are telling people about Jesus.”
