Several parts of Kempton Park will be without power on Thursday, August 24 between 09:00 and 16:00.

Power supply will be affected as a result of routine maintenance work to be carried out by the City of Ekurhuleni,

“The routine maintenance work is necessary to enhance the stability of the of the power supply in the area,” said spokesperson for the City of Ekurhuleni, Zewli Dlamini.

Areas that will be affected include:

• Van Riebeck Park
• Kempton Park West
• Terenure
• Edleen
• Birch Acres
• Kempton Park Ext 5
• Kempton Park Ext 11
• Birchleigh Ext 7,8,11,16 and surroundings

“Residents are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times.”
