Local police recover unlicensed firearm and arrest one suspect

Ekurhuleni South District Crime Intelligence and Tembisa Crime Prevention units conducted a follow-up operation based on information received about a suspect involved in illegal firearm activities on August 22.
The operation led the teams to a residential property in Maokeng Section, where they apprehended a 32-year-old male.

They arrested the suspect for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and took him to the Thembisa Police Station for further processing.
