Kempton police conclude Women’s Month in style
Lesomo saluted the women who took part in all aspects of Operation Basadi, which took place in August and contributed to ensuring that justice was served.
Kempton Park SAPS support head Colonel Motsatsi Lesomo assembled all women at the police station on August 31 to close off Women’s Month.
Lesomo advised the women to look out for one another and support each other in all ways.
“I understand that there are times when we face significant and challenging circumstances at work, but let’s push through and let’s fight GBV because this is another issue that causes women to doubt themselves.”

She said earlier in the month, officers held a march in remembrance of the lives of women lost to GBV.
