These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet at the Kempton Park SPCA.

These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet at the Kempton Park SPCA:

• Choose an animal and fall in love.

• Complete the application to adopt the animal. Pay a R200 (non-refundable) deposit. You need a copy of your ID and proof of residence.

• The staff will inspect your application.

• The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete and pre-homes are conducted ONLY between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.

The young adult male Siamese-cross is waiting for his forever family.

• On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

• The animal will go for sterilisation as soon as there is space at the vet after approval of the home inspection.

• Take your fur baby home.

The local society reserves the right to reject or refuse the application.
