“It states that everyone has the right to a safe and responsible drinking environment and that venues and police are empowered to eject and ban patrons who compromise such environments,” said Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego.

According to Ditshego, 500 pamphlets were distributed to the community alerting them to the consequences of drinking alcohol and the crimes that take place because of alcohol usage.
The owners were urged to collaborate with the police to reduce crime in Kempton Park.
