SAPS show their support for 16 Days of Activism campaign

The Kempton Park SAPS support head Colonel Motsatsi Lesomo visited AFM Church recently to join in a 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.
She was joined by several officers from the station including Lieutenant Colonel Seakamela and Chaplain Ntshabeni.
A total of 100 pamphlets were distributed to the congregants.

Lesomo informed the congregants that the police are observing the annual 16 days by highlighting the work of the police who are not only game changers in their respective fields but who also go beyond the call of duty to protect women and children.
“Always speak out, let’s work hand in hand with the police to accelerate action to end GBVF and to report the abuse on 0800 10111,” she said.
Lesomo explained the different kind of abuse and reminded the congregants that no one has the right to abuse anyone.
Lesomo encouraged the congregants to never turn their back on GBV.
