Kempton Park girl gives back to the less fortunate

“In 2024, we will go bigger to ensure every child enjoys a merry Christmas."

Kempton Park resident Chelldrie Swanepoel held her annual Santa Drive to make Christmas special for those less fortunate.

The 11-year-old is described as having a heart of gold.

According to her mother, Marchell Swanepoel, Chelldrie has hosted the Santa Drive for the last four years, and every year, the event gains more traction.

“Every year, she is joined by the CPF, Alfpa and MML Security, along with many of Santa’s helpers from the community, to make Christmas special for the less fortunate.”

“A small act of kindness goes a long way, and to see all the smiles makes it worth all the effort,” Chelldrie said.

 

Marchell thanked the members of the community who donated sweets packets and soft toys to ensure every child received a present on the day.

“In 2024, we will go bigger to ensure every child enjoys a merry Christmas.”
