Thugs get away with cash after bombing ATM in Oakmoor

In the early hours of June 5, criminals bombed an Easy Pay ATM inside the OBC Better Butchery in Oakmoor, Thembisa, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Residents and businesses are advised that Easy Pay ATMs might now be in criminals’ crosshairs.

According to the SAPS, ATM bombings in Thembisa are an ongoing issue.

It is believed criminals are now targeting retail stores in Thembisa and surrounding areas with ATMs inside.

Various law enforcement agencies attended the scene.

There were no arrests made and no reports of injuries.

Despite several attempts to get more information about the bombing, no comment was forthcoming at the time of going to print.
