Emergency electrical maintenance set to be concluded by 18:00
Here's a comprehensive list of suburbs that can expect power supply interruptions throughout the day while technicians are at work.
Emergency maintenance at substations in Kempton Park and Benoni will continue until 18:00 today (August 8).
The maintenance work is affecting several suburbs, including Aston Manor, Bonaero Park, Glen Marais, Allen Grove, Terenure and Birchleigh.
Customers in parts of Spartan, Croydon, Rhodesfield, Pomona, Bredell, Van Riebeeck Park, Norkem Park, Witfontein, Birch Acres and Kempton Park West can also expect to be affected.
Customers are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times while work is ongoing.
