The Kempton Park Regional Court on November 26 again postponed the case against the murder accused, Denise Hattingh.

She will now be back in court on December 10.

On November 14, the court heard the State had completed its investigation against Hattingh.

She was arrested on May 16 after police issued an alert to be on the lookout for her in connection with Greeff’s murder the previous night.

According to Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sargent Dipuo Ditshego on May 15, police responded to the scene of a murder at a property on West Road.

“When police arrived at the property, they found Greeff’s body,” said Ditshego.

She added police believed Greeff was strangled with a cable.

Ditshego confirmed that Sec Pros security personnel were on patrol around Brentwood Park when they spotted a woman matching the description given for Hattingh.

“They apprehended her and Detective Captain Richard Moloi, who attended the murder scene, went to Brentwood Park.”

“Hattingh was transported to the Kempton Park Police Station, where they charged her with murder,” said Ditshego.
