Refuelling challenges at OR Tambo RESOLVED

Fuel trucks have been dispatched to the apron and operations are back to normal following refuelling challenges earlier today.

Passengers are informed that the fuel system at OR Tambo International Airport is once again fully operational.

Earlier today, travellers using OR Tambo International Airport were urged to prepare for potential disruptions as refuelling challenges impacted flight operations.

Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) released a statement confirming that airlines were unable to refuel as normal.

This issue led to delays for some flights.
