Thembisa has a new queen for 2025

Miss Thembisa recently hosted yet another stunning event to crown Miss Thembisa 2025, alongside her princesses and Miss Teen.

This annual event engages numerous participants in various activities throughout the year, helping them build their profiles, confidence, and knowledge in preparation for the grand finale.

Despite the fierce competition, only one person could be crowned Miss Thembisa, with two others selected as princesses.
Miss Thembisa 2025, Kgwadi Mphago, shared her motivation for entering the competition.
“I entered Miss Thembisa driven by a passion to inspire young girls in my community.
“Growing up, I longed for a role model who embodied strength, resilience, and beauty. “Now, I am honoured to be that role model for the next generation.
“The journey was transformative, filled with moments of self-discovery and growth. I encountered challenges like fear and uncertainty but overcame them with the support of my loved ones and my determination to make a difference.”
Mphago added, “I feel immense gratitude, humility, and joy. Being crowned Miss Thembisa is a dream come true, and I am committed to wearing this crown with dignity, compassion, and purpose.

“My mission is to empower young girls and women by creating platforms for them to share their stories, access resources, and showcase their talents.

The community can expect a passionate and committed ambassador dedicated to uplifting and inspiring others.”
Miss Thembisa first princess, Lethabo Malatji, reflected on her enriching experience.
“My journey taught me the value of sisterhood, time management, and balancing my personal life and studies while participating in the pageant.
“I plan to educate and support young people in navigating their studies, particularly in Further Education and Training. My goal is to see a positive shift in how youth approach education.”

Second princess, Rakgadi Moyaga, emphasised the importance of education, stating, “I entered Miss Thembisa because I am passionate about education and youth empowerment. I believe education unlocks opportunities and provides solutions to many challenges.”
The event marked a significant milestone, with new titleholders selected to represent Thembisa for the coming year.
