AM Hengtong Africa Telecoms donates tech devices to local schools

Kempton Park-based AM Hengtong Africa Telecoms has reaffirmed its commitment to uplifting communities by donating vital ICT equipment to three local institutions, including Mpho’s Dream Home, Hoërskool Jeugland and Heavenly Kids Preschool.

The donations included computers, tablets, and other essential tools to enhance learning and provide teachers and students access to valuable technological resources.

Led by HR manager Lenny Mabotja and production manager Kagiso Makgaretsa, the AM Hengtong team visited these institutions to deliver the equipment.

• At Mpho’s Dream Home, a care centre for vulnerable children, the equipment will provide young learners with access to educational tools to support their personal and academic growth.

• Hoërskool Jeugland management expressed enthusiasm about how the new resources would improve the learning experience for their students, offering them new opportunities in a technology-driven world.

• At Heavenly Kids Preschool, the donation will help nurture digital literacy among the youngest learners, laying a firm foundation for their future educational journeys.
