Stolen minibus recovered in Thembisa

EMPD North Task Team officers recovered a stolen white Toyota Quantum at the Ililiba section in the Thembisa on January 17.

Officers doing crime prevention duties received information from a tracking company about a Toyota Quantum stolen in Mpumalanga that had updated in the Thembisa area.

The members started tracing the vehicle with the help of a tracking device that led them to the Ililiba section, where they found it abandoned on the roadside and took it to the Aeroton Police Pound for further investigation.
