Local entrepreneurs come together to reflect on their challenges and successes from 2024 while preparing for what lies ahead in 2025.

Attendees also gain access to free business resources to enhance their sales strategies, all while enjoying coffee and snacks in a relaxed networking environment.

Since its 2012 launch, iKhokha has developed a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by small businesses in SA.

As part of its growth strategy, iKhokha decided to better understand what entrepreneurs need for added support and convenience.

This research revealed a strong demand for an on-the-ground presence, leading to the opening of physical stores in key locations across KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape and Gauteng.

These stores serve as an extension of the brand and provide much-needed support to small businesses.

“At iKhokha, we are dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and SMEs believe in better business by supporting the underserved self-employed sector an essential driver of SA’s economy,” said Ramsay Daly, a co-founder and the executive head of informal markets at iKhokha.

“The real challenge this sector faces is the lack of access to financial instruments that formal businesses take for granted.

“This, in turn, stifles their growth, education and management capabilities. iKhokha’s mission is to change that.”
