Don’t get caught out by tender scammers – City warns

Scammers are impersonating City of Ekurhuleni for tenders.

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) was recently made aware of fraudulent activities targeting potential bidders.

In the most recent incident, a service provider was called by someone claiming to be from CoE informing them that they are recommended, and further requesting for the bidder to thank them in terms of monetary value.
