More electricity supply disruptions set for Kempton Park

Various parts of Kempton Park will be without power from June 10 to June 12 while the City’s technicians carry out the work.

The City of Ekurhuleni has announced scheduled power supply interruptions in various parts of Kempton Park as part of planned maintenance work.

The work will be carried out by the City’s technicians to ensure the continued reliability of the electricity network.

Both residential and industrial areas will be affected on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 10
Time: 08:00 – 20:00
Affected Areas/Streets:
Wrench Road, Industry Road, Anvil Road, Diesel Road, Brewery Road, Quality Road, Furnace Street, Barlow Road, Actom Street, Joist, Electron, and surrounding areas.

Wednesday, June 11
Time: 10:00 – 16:00
Affected Areas/Streets:
Kempton Park Ext 1, Ext 2, Ext 4, Ext 8, Festival Mall, Kelvin Road, CR Swart, Rhodesfield Ext 1, Kempton Park CBD, and parts of Spartan including Derrick Road, Plane Road, Forge Road, Steel Road, Kelvin Road, as well as Cresslawn and surrounding areas.

Thursday, June 12
Time: 08:00 – 20:00
Affected Areas/Streets:
Pretoria Road, Jones Road, Rhodesfield, and surrounding areas.

Safety Notice:
Residents are advised to treat all electrical network points as live during this period, as power may be restored at any time without warning.

The City apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their understanding as these essential maintenance activities are carried out.
