City of Ekurhuleni technicians are on site at the Isando substation following a fire that broke out during the early hours of this morning, June 13.

Emergency measures have been implemented to provide a temporary power supply while investigations into the cause of the fire continue.

The streets affected include Monteer Road, Diesel Road, Isando Road, Tungsten Road, Power Street, Girder Street, Lathe Street, Quality Road, Brewery Street, Kram Street and surrounding areas.

Customers are urged to treat all electrical networks as live while repair work is under way.
