Provincial drive to fight substance abuse kicks off in Gauteng this October

Residents of Ekurhuleni are invited to join the Gauteng Provincial Government’s Tswa Daar campaign launch at Tsakane Stadium on October 27, offering free medical checks, admissions, ID services, and skills development opportunities.

The Gauteng Provincial Government is launching an anti-substance abuse response programme on October 27 across the province at 09:00. The meeting point for the Tsakane area is at Tsakane Stadium along Modjadji Street.

The campaign, called Tswa Daar: Phuma Lapho Anti-Substance Abuse Campaign, aims to tackle the scourge of substance abuse in the province.

• Profiling of substance users for jobs and training opportunities
• Intake assessments and admissions
