HORSES on R21 cause temporary closure near Olifantsfontein

Motorists are urged to approach the area with caution and where possible to use alternate routes and remain vigilant.

Shortly after 07:00, motorists reported seeing several horses on the R21 near Olifantsfontein Road.

The animals were spotted on the centre island between the north and southbound lanes.

Authorities were alerted, and the highway was temporarily closed as a safety precaution.
