The City of Ekurhuleni has confirmed that electricity supply has been fully restored to all areas in and around Kempton Park affected by the earlier outage.

The fault, which originated on the Eskom transmission network, left large parts of Kempton Park, including the CBD, Glen Marais, Van Riebeeck Park, Spartan, Isando, and OR Tambo International Airport, without power for several hours.
