NOTICE: Eskom to conduct emergency repairs in Kempton Park

A planned outage is scheduled to take place from 07:30 to 13:00 on Friday to allow technicians time to restore stability to the network.

Eskom will carry out emergency repairs to its power network this Friday, November 14, resulting in a temporary electricity interruption affecting parts of Kempton Park.

According to City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, the planned outage is scheduled to take place from 07:30 to 13:00, during which time technicians will work to restore stability to the network.

The interruption will primarily impact industries located along the following streets:

• Isando Road

• Foundry Street

• Tungsten Road

• Brewery Street

• Monteer Road

• Electronic Road

• Pulling Street

• Monteer Street

• Wrench Road

• Teraco

Eskom has urged affected customers to treat all electrical installations as live at all times, as power may be restored without prior notice once repairs are completed.

“Residents and businesses are encouraged to plan accordingly and ensure that all sensitive equipment is properly switched off during the maintenance period,” said Dlamini
