The City of Ekurhuleni has confirmed that its technicians are attending to multiple power supply interruptions affecting parts of Kempton Park since this morning.

According to city spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini, preliminary investigations indicate that faulty cables are responsible for the outages.

Technicians are currently conducting tests and carrying out repairs where required.

The affected areas include:

• Isando Ext 1 – Industry Road, Anvil Road and surrounding streets
• Pomona Estates Agricultural Holdings – E.P. Malan Road
• Serengeti Golf Estates

The city has not yet established an estimated restoration time but has assured residents that power will be restored today.

Customers are urged to treat all electrical networks as live while repair work is underway.
