Since formalising as the Endulwini Crew Dancers, the group has featured prominently in Qwabe’s music videos, including Yooh Kwenzakalani and Tembisawapopayi.
Their biggest breakthrough came when they secured a role in a national commercial for the popular energy drink Mofaya, giving them exposure to audiences across SA.
For Yooh Kwenzakalani, watching the crew’s rise has been inspiring and affirming.
“I have seen first-hand how music can unite and inspire people. The Endulwini Crew Dancers are a testament to passion and dedication,” he said.
As their popularity grows, the crew continues to perform at events, collaborate on new musical projects and appear in adverts.
Their calendar includes several upcoming opportunities, including a planned music video shoot featuring Mofaya energy drinks.
The dancers thanked those who had assisted them along the way, including Outdirect Chillcast, Ekurhuleni newspapers, Olifants News, DJ Sbu, who offered them tracksuits and school uniforms, and MK2One Studios for recent invitations.
