Water supply recovery underway in Kempton Park

Water tankers remain deployed in affected areas across Kempton Park. Here's a full list of tankers available to residents.

The City of Ekurhuleni has confirmed that Rand Water has completed its planned maintenance on bulk water infrastructure, which began on December 7, with the recovery process now underway.

Residents are advised that the water supply will not return immediately, as the system requires time to stabilise and rebuild capacity. This is particularly the case in high-lying areas, where delays may be experienced.

According to the City, technicians are continuously monitoring reservoir levels through a telemetry system, which provides real-time data and allows for proactive adjustments to ensure a stable recovery to full capacity.

In the meantime, water tankers remain deployed in affected areas across Kempton Park.
