East Rand Woodworkers Association kicks off 2026 with February meeting

With more than 10 000 complaints handled in 2024/25, the Pension Funds Adjudicator urges members to understand their rights and how to lodge a valid complaint.

Members of the East Rand Woodworkers Association (ERWA) are rolling up their sleeves and preparing the lacquer varnish to kick off another year of creation.

The club’s next meeting will take place on February 21 (and every third Saturday of the month) at Leroy Merlin Greenstone (first floor boardroom) from 09:30 to 12:00.

Whether you consider yourself a pro or are only just learning ropes, everyone is welcome.

Topics and tutorials will be offered including carpentry, cabinetry, turning, laser, CNC, 3D printing, carving, furniture and more.
A monthly membership fee of R230 is payable and guests are welcome to attend meetings free of charge.
