On February 10, officers from the EMPD’s Social Crime Prevention Unit conducted a road safety awareness campaign at the intersection of Andrew Mapheto Drive and Isimuku Street in Thembisa.

Pamphlets containing road safety information were distributed, and officers shared safety tips, including avoiding distractions, such as mobile phone use while driving, and always wearing a seatbelt.

Pedestrians were advised to use sidewalks where available and to wear visible clothing when walking at night.
