The City of Ekurhuleni is calling on residents in Kempton Park to take part in the public consultation process to rename Kafferboom Crescent in Birchleigh.

The city’s geographical naming and renaming policy sets out principles for naming and renaming public places, roads, and community infrastructure. This includes avoiding names that are offensive, discriminatory, or derogatory.

The policy also ensures a consistent, fair, and equitable process, with public participation integral to decision-making.
