“Officers shared information on domestic violence and gender-based violence, while also educating community members on the importance of reporting any form of violence or abuse to the relevant authorities,” said EMPD media liaison officer Constable Katlego Mphahlele.
Community members were also informed about the available reporting channels and encouraged to work closely with law enforcement to combat violence and protect vulnerable groups.
The EMPD emphasised the importance of community involvement in addressing social crimes and fostering safer neighbourhoods.
