Water police recover body at Homestead Dam

On May 15, members from the SAPS Ekurhuleni Water Policing and Diving Services deployed to a scene at Homestead Dam, leading to the recovery of a body.

In the morning, members responded to a call of a body floating in Homestead Dam close to the corners of Wilge and Coleridge roads, Farramere, Benoni.

The body of a 31-year-old male was swiftly removed and handed to Benoni SAPS for further investigation.
