SAPS members unite for football victory
SAPS members backed their colleagues during the league match at Esiqongweni Sports Ground.
Members of Thembisa South SAPS turned out in numbers to support their colleagues during a soccer match against PAP Station in the Ekurhuleni North Football League at Esiqongweni Sports Ground on August 19.
Officials from both stations, together with members of the Social Crime Prevention unit, showed their support from the sidelines as the teams battled for victory.

Thembisa South secured a 2-1 win, dominating the match and earning a positive result.
Thembisa South station commander Colonel Pero encouraged members to remain physically fit and to make use of the opportunity to participate in sport on Wednesdays.
“Members should put more effort and dedication into the work they do on a day-to-day basis to make Thembisa a crime-free area,” said Pero.
He welcomed the team’s victory, described Thembisa South SAPS as a strong team, and wished the players well in their upcoming matches.
