‘All I smell is poo and more poo’

I would like to make an appeal to all the residents of Kempton Park.

Can you please check who Erasmus farm supplies fruit and vegetables to?

I would like to boycott these places as I think it is very unhealthy to eat produce that has been grown in human faeces. Does Pick n Pay buy from these people?

I would like a comment from someone at Erasmus farm to give me the facts of how acceptable it is to grow foodstuffs in human faecal matter. Surely there is a health risk at bay?

I don't care if these persons are saving three million rand by doing what they is doing. Do they not think further of the impact it has on our residents?

Firstly with babies, elderly and any person in fact breathing in that stench, what unseen poisonous gases are doing to our lungs? It is now summer, I want to open my doors and get the smell of spring first thing in the mornings and the evenings.

All I smell is poo and more poo. Disgusting, to say the least.

I would also like an official from the health department to give comments on this disgusting state of affairs and if it's been investigated by the health department and the risks involved.

Or has that conveniently just been shelved as anything that concerns municipal departments?

I am so terribly disappointed by this story and cannot believe what is happening to our town.
