Family dog found safe at SPCA

He is 18 years old, deaf and receives medication for his heart

BELINDA writes:

On Tuesday, July 7, some kids opened the gates of our home and my three dogs came out. Two of them went back home but the other one went missing.

We were frantic. We phoned our vet to find out if someone maybe took him there. We looked for hours on end.

My heart was broken. He is 18 years old, deaf and receives medication for his heart.

The next morning, I phoned the SPCA and I was informed that our baby was with them. After that call, my tears were flowing freely with happiness.

I don’t know who called the SPCA to let them know there was a stray dog in Van Riebeeck Park. We would like to thank the person/s who did this from the bottom of our hearts. May God bless you for doing this. Our baby is back home and we are so grateful for people that still care about animals, even if they are not theirs. Thank you so very much.
