Today (January 24) I witnessed them threatening a woman and damaging her car because she wouldn’t pay the R5 they were demanding.
She repeatedly stated she didn’t have any money. All sorts of insults were hurled at her.

I myself have had several clashes with car guards demanding same in and around Johannesburg. Let’s curb this barbarism.
Besides, these so-called car guards usually aren’t of any use anyway. They allegedly often work with or for car theft gangs.
Do something before a car owner loses his or her life.
