I was woken up at 1.30am on Tuesday morning (May 2) by hooting and a siren sounding at my gate.
When I peeped through the window I saw it was the police. Still not sure what was going on, I opted to address them through the window.
They advised me that my garage door was wide open and the lights were on in the garage.This really alarmed me and I went outside to check, only to find everything in order and that my daughter, who was last in, omitted to close the garage.
I just want to pass my gratitude to Norkem Park SAPS for looking after us while we are in dreamland and for their vigilance as they patrol our streets.
