Pizza outlet’s manager is simply one of a kind

‘We were a bit shocked as we could not believe his generosity and willingness to assist us’

MELONY van Rooyen writes:

On April 24 my family and I went to Mimmo’s in Glen Marais and ordered pizzas and pastas.

Both the meal and service were great and we enjoyed our stay. But when the bill came, we realised we left our bank card at home and had no cash on us.

My husband wanted to drive home while we waited at the restaurant.

The owner/manager of Mimmo’s said not to worry about it and we could come back the next day and pay our bill. We were a bit shocked as we could not believe his generosity and willingness to assist us.

We asked if he wanted our ID / driver’s licence or anything as insurance that we would be back but he said not to worry.

So we decided to leave our take-away there on the night. When my husband went back the next day to pay the bill, they made him a brand new full portion to take home!

I just found this act so amazing and the people of Kempton Park had also such positive things to say about Mimmo’s.

I posted this story on the Kemptonparkers Facebook page and lots of people had amazing feedback and lovely things to say about the restaurant.
