Recently, I had the opportunity and privilege to come into contact with the staff of Norkem Park Police Station.
I have rarely encountered such a well-ordered charge office which is obviously the front line of any station and thus in itself, one could say a form of judging the performance of the station as a whole.
I would particularly like to commend Student Const LN Chauke on treating me with such dignity and concern, while still maintaining his level of professionalism. I was therefore very impressed to discover that he was still a student and had not attended police college as yet.
I am sure that he will go on to achieve well in his choice of career, especially when dealing with the public.
The overall performance of the staff was amazing, especially as I had gone through an ordeal of being attacked by a taxi driver the day before.
However, once again I would like to commend the following members, due to the fact that they really reached out to me as an individual, which was very comforting.
They are Const MM Phosa, Sgt Maleka, SAC OM Choshi and PAC Kekana.
Kudos to all of you with regard to your kindness and professionalism.
